What challenges were you facing from a marketing perspective that you hoped Service Direct could help solve?

For us, it boiled down to pay-per-click marketing being highly ineffective. When we ran the numbers, our ROI on our PPC marketing was very low, and when we factored in the high cost of labor to manage those campaigns, it just wasn’t working for us. So, not only was it costing us a lot of money to convert a lead through our PPC efforts, but it was also very inconsistent in terms of the volume of leads that we generated from day to day and week to week. That's when we decided to look for a service that could help us do this more effectively.

The Solution

What was it about Service Direct's solution that was most compelling to you?

We liked the fact that we could set our own lead price. With our own PPC, the cost to convert a lead varied wildly. So, knowing what our cost per lead would be, and having the control to change that based on the results we were seeing and our needs at that time, was highly attractive to us.

In terms of the lead quality, for every 10 appointments we book from Service Direct leads, 9 of them become actual jobs on average. These aren’t people just kicking tires. They end up becoming customers, and we recognize that if we take care of them, they’ll be lifelong customers.
