For our latest customer spotlight, we sat down with Andre Beckford, CEO at AMB-WORKS Appliance Repair. Q. When you were considering partnering with Service Direct, what specific business problems/challenges were you facing that you hoped we could help solve? 

A. When I was considering partnering AMB-WORKS Appliance Repair with Service Direct, my main goals were centered around consistency and control. I wanted greater control over my target marketing areas as well as increased control over the amount of money I would be spending on each lead. Additionally, as many home service providers would understand, I wanted a more constant workflow.

Q. What about Service Direct’s offering made you decide to give it a try? What about the Service was most compelling to you?

A. When I was researching lead generation companies, Service Direct was the only one that I came across that allowed me to change the price on the cost per lead. This is huge for me as a business owner because the more flexibility I have, especially regarding budgetary factors, the better I am able to ensure my company is thriving. Service Direct makes it easy for you to adjust your cost per lead depending on your company’s needs. For example, I have been able to increase my CPL to bring in more leads when I want more calls as well as decrease my CPL when I am overbooked. That level of control allows me to adjust my marketing efforts to fit my needs at any given time which is something I haven’t come across with other lead generation companies.

A. I’ve tried many other marketing services, including other lead generation providers, PPC companies, SEO tactics, and other appliance repair marketing platforms.

A. Partnering with Service Direct has had a huge impact on my ability to grow my business the way I want; it’s practically doubled my revenue. I’m looking to hire 2 full technicians in the upcoming months, which is something that I hadn’t been able to do until Service Direct helped me find more customers in a larger area. It’s exciting to see how much a successful marketing strategy can boost internal growth at an appliance repair service business like mine. 

Q. How many of Service Direct’s leads turned into booked appointments for you? (meaning, you were able to get in the home).

A. I’m lucky to have a really great receptionist team at my business, which, when combined with the top-tier services we’re getting through Service Direct, has helped turn almost every lead we’ve received into a booked appointment. 

Q. What would you tell other companies that are trying to decide whether or not a partnership with Service Direct makes sense for them?

A. It’s easy to see that I am a fan of the services Service Direct provides and I think my experience speaks for itself. But if you’re still on the fence about a partnership, I would say that if you are having problems finding consistent workflow, struggling to increase your cash flow, or are having difficulty managing your budget then Service Direct is the place to improve all those aspects and more.
