What Results Do Service Direct Clients See?
At Service Direct, we love transparency. We aren’t saying that as a sales gimmick. We live and breathe data, and the more data we unlock the better we are and the better our clients are. The reality when it comes to performance-based marketing is that BOTH parties have to perform their jobs for it to work.
What does that mean? It means we have to be able to connect you in real-time to potential customers AND you have to be able to take those engagements and turn them into customers and revenue. If we do our job but you can’t hold up your end of the bargain, it won’t work. Conversely, if we can’t do our job and drive purchase-ready leads your way, it won’t work.
As such, we will always be upfront with potential clients about the likelihood of success, and in many cases it’s clear that a partnership doesn’t make sense. How we collect our data
We’ve built our lead generation platform to provide as much transparency as possible to our clients and our employees. Our technology allows us to collect data in a couple of different ways…
Client-reported data
Our clients have the ability to do several things within their mySD dashboard to help them better understand how their campaign(s) is performing.
Service Direct-reported data
We also have a team of amazing Quality Assurance representatives that are constantly listening to calls and analyzing them for the same metrics above as well as many others.
Definition of Terms
Before we share our data, we want to clearly define what these terms mean, so that you understand what you’re looking at.
Total Calls Analyzed. This is the number of calls we have analyzed in order to provide you with some further insight into the quality of those calls.
Percentage of Leads - Billable. Out of all calls we have analyzed, this is the percentage of calls that ended up being marked as billable in our system.
Client Answer Rate. This is the percentage of calls (over 20 seconds in duration) that was answered by our clients.
First Call Booked Appointment Rate.* This is the percentage of calls that were answered by our clients and where the caller had a service need that ended up being booked by our client on the first call.
Jobs Analyzed. This is the total number of calls where our clients selected ‘Job Won’ within their account.
Average Ticket Price. This is the total amount of revenue reported by our clients divided by the number of Won Jobs reported by our clients.
*Note: Oftentimes the client follows up with the client outside of our system and is able to book the call. When comparing our first call booked appointment rate with clients that have graciously shared with us their actual booking rate (including these instances our system can’t track), they typically report about a 10% higher actual booked appointment rate.

N/A: It is difficult to get accurate per ticket pricing for pest control because most clients try to steer callers into monthly or quarterly plans, and do not know the total value of the customer until months later. This prevents them from retroactively reporting this revenue data.

- Out of the calls I answer, what percentage will I book into appointments?
- Out of the appointments I book, what percentage will become paying jobs?
- How much do I make on an average job?
- Am I okay with a certain percentage of calls coming in that aren't serviceable opportunities? Note: our system automatically flags some of these, and you have the ability to dispute other leads within 7 days of lead delivery date.
- Am I okay paying for a certain percentage of serviceable leads that don't turn into appointments or jobs?
