We spoke with Shaphan Hawks, owner of ASAP Repair, LLC, to learn more about how Service Direct has helped his business for our latest customer spotlight. Q. How were you generating leads prior to using Service Direct?
A. We used a couple of marketing and lead generation services, but Thumbtack and Google Adwords were our primary tools for bringing in leads.

A. We were getting bogged down dealing with the constant frustrations of Google Adword verification and the significant learning curve to mastering the platform. A. We set our own cost per lead, which makes it easy to keep a lid on costs. Service Direct also lets us pause campaigns if and when we need to, so once we’ve gotten enough leads for a given time, or if we’re too busy to take on more jobs, we can turn off the faucet for a bit, then turn it right back on when we’re ready to start getting calls again.
